Supper at the Oenema House

I forgot that you had to post pictures backwards on Blogger. I was just going through my photos and adding them in sequence. This means I've posted the supper events in an order opposite to what actually occurred. You can still enjoy the pictures. Alida had found a nifty sheet set which we got as an early wedding present. What you can't see in this picture is Alain goofing off on the other side of the camera to generate the expressions on our faces.

Obviously the blog has taken a backseat to wedding planning. Even though we are keeping our wedding small and pretty informal, I am constantly amazed by all the details we have to keep working on. Things are falling into place, as we make call after call and check off each appointment and task.

As soon as work finishes today, we'll be heading out to the Park to meet our photographer for the first time and give her an idea of what kind of pictures we want.

Only 10 days left until the wedding. It's so exciting.

Bertram Creek Park

With all the wedding planning going on these days, it was nice to have a day that didn't go as expected. Kristin and I had decided to go to Bertram Creek Park to come up with ideas for the wedding ceremony and reception. Instead our plans got put aside, when we reached the park, to enjoy the weather and each other's company. The sun was out and the day turned into a photo shoot.
