Crokinole

A game I've never played before but Dad recently inherited an original gameboard, so we thought we'd give it a whirl. It turned out to be highly enjoyable even though some of us are better at it than others.

Garden produce

Too bad we didn't do more documentation and take pictures galore. 40lbs of nectarines canned, jars and jars and jars of tomatoes canned, strawberry rhubarb jam, apricot/peach jam, dried chili peppers, frozen jalapenos, frozen blueberries and blackberries, frozen tomatoes aplenty....and more..

It was a very bountiful summer and so much fun to plant our very own garden for the first time ever and gather produce grown by our own hands, plums from mom and dad's trees and fruit from the Okanagan valley. I love summer.. I'm sad to see it go.
