Good Results

Praise the Lord!!

I just got the results from Esme's EEG. She is perfectly "normal for her age"!! So thankful that all is well and that we got the all-clear we've been praying for.

We will be seeing the pediatrician on Thursday (Dec 23rd) to follow up on the reflux issue. But the question of whether there is anything of concern going on for Esme is now answered, so Merry Christmas to us! And Merry Christmas to my loyal few readers as well ;)

The Wonder of Christmas

Christmas through the eyes of a child. Esme is awestruck and fascinated by all the new exciting things around Christmas and it makes me see it all afresh.

I love watching her eyes light up when she sees the lights on the tree and the snowglobe snowing and the music playing and the nativity scene, and having her sign 'more, more' over and over again because she just can't get enough of it all. SO PRECIOUS!!

And a video to finish this post off:

Santa

"Mom, who is this scary guy and why do I have to sit here?"

"Mom, please can I get down now?"

Mostly distracted by a large stuffed Elmo

Elmo's just not exciting enough to smile. "Please let me go down!"

We opted for the 'free' Santa visit at a local children's store rather than paying to see the mall 'Santa' since Santa doesn't play a huge role in our Christmas.

It's just a cute childhood picture necessity. As you can see, Esme wasn't too impressed and didn't spend much time telling him what she wanted for Christmas :)

Snow!
