Quick Update

Just wanted to give a quick update on Esme.

The day after we took her to the walk-in, she sort of did the same jerky thing a few separate times. It looked a little similar but didn't feel scary because it only would happen once (not in quick repetition like the first night) and it looked more like a twitch or like a new way of expressing displeasure than a seizure. In the days since then she hasn't done anything like it and she's seemed like she is back to her old self.

We are still waiting to hear from a pediatrician. (I had hoped that seeing a children's specialist would be faster than our experience with all other specialists but so far it is not looking like that will be the case.) It would be nice to have peace of mind from a trained professional.

At this time, she seems fine and we are hoping that they were just twitches possibly caused by whatever had been giving her a fever in the days leading up to the 'episodes'.

Please continue to pray for Esme. That whatever caused the episodes will have no long-term effect. And that we will soon get a call from the pediatrician, so that we can find out what (if anything) is up.

Thanks to everyone who is already praying for Esme. Your support is much appreciated.
